Hi, i'm Michael Skeffington and I live in Salford, Grt Manchester. My father was Martin John Skeffington born in Charlestown, Co Mayo in 1911 I think. His siblings were; Mary Ellen, Winifred (Winnie) and Thomas. It is understood they were abandoned by their mother while their father was in France. They followed their mother and her patner to Salford. This was the start of a long story. My grandfather's name was also Martin John and he was a tinsmith. Any info would be welcome.
