Patsy SKAGGS was born ca 1849 in Missouri. I believe her parents were John
and Christiann UNKNOWN SKAGGS. Siblings (?) John S and Elizabeth C SKAGGS.

My question - is anyone aware of a SKAGGS Family connection to the
HARDESTER, HARDISTER, ROOK or COLLIER Families?

My family is noted living around various SKAGGS - SCAGGS families in
Missouri from ca 1840 to 1870. In the 1870 Federal Census of Cullen
Township, Pulaski County, Missouri, my (then) orphaned great-grandfather,
12 y/o, (William) Henry HARDISTER, was living in the same home as Patsy
SKAGGS (about 17) and Thomas WINGO (23). Relationship to the WINGO Family
is unknown. Only been at this since the 1960's and still trying to see if
there's a connection. Anyone? Thank you!
