Surnames: Seaholm or Sjoholm
My great grandfather was Karl Emanuel Sjoholm. He was born about 1856, and lived in Bosarp, Malmohus, Sweden. At age 23, left from port of Malmo on November 6, 1879 for New York. He traveled alone. He went to Chicago and used the name Carl Seaholm. We think he married a woman named Clara Sophia Sundin (Sundeen) although there is no official record of her, only word of mouth. He had four sons, Arthur, David, Seth and Ariel. I would like to find out more about this family, and would greatly appreciate any assistance.
