I'm not sure if my Anna had any siblings or not. I do know that she had a son, I think his swedish name might have been Anders Anderson or Andersson. This would be my great-grandfather as Anna Sjogren would be my great-great grandmother. My great-grandfather took the name of Andrew Berggren when he migrated from Sweden. The Swedish Army told him that there were too many men migrating with the name of Anders Anderson or Andersson. I do know that they lived in Canada for a bit. My grandfather Holger was born in Manitoba, Canada. The 1930 census shows Andrew Berggren's family in Wisconsin and Anna Sjogren was widowed at that time and lived with Andrew and his family. I'm not sure what Anna's hubby's name was as I haven't found that info. yet. Andrew married my great-grandmother and her name before marriage was Anna Marta Sundberg and they had 5 children together I believe, 4 boys and 1 girl. I do know that Andrew had a sister named Mary and she married a man by the name of Clarence Richard Nelson. I am not sure what last name she had when she came to the U.S. It would either be Anderson, Andersson, or Berggren. Clarence and one of Andrew's sons Beauford, owned adjacent land plots in Wisconsin. I am puzzled as to Anna Sjogren's name. I recently was in touch with with a cousin of my grandfather Holger Berggren (who would be Andrew and Anna's son) and when I asked him what Andrew's mother's last name was he spelled to me "S-h-o-g-r-e-n". But I have been informed that Anna is buried under the name of Anna Sjogren. Why would she live her American life as Anna Shogren and be buried as Anna Sjogren. I do believe that her Swedish name may have been Anan Sjogren. This same cousin told me that Anna did not speak any English so they spoke "Swed" in the home. Just lots of questions. I hope we are related. The more family the merrier.....hehehehe....I'll be in touch!
