WELL-KNOWN PIONEER DIES AT DEER LODGE
Deer Lodge, May 3---Mrs. Edna C. Nelson, wife of G. F. Nelson, passed away about 1:10 o'clock yesterday morning at the family home a few miles north of town. As a result of a paralytic stroke suffered about a week ago. She was about 59 years of age, being born in Nerikes Boo, Oribra Lan, Sweden, December 19, 1866. She lived in the United States for many years, having been a resident of Butte [Silver Bow County] for 15 years prior to coming to Deer Lodge [Powell County] after her marriage to Mr. Nelson. They were married July 11, 1908.

Since that time they have lived on their ranch north of the city. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Rebekahs and Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Hans Erdandson of Butte, Mrs. Josephine Dahlberg of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Amelia Bostrom of Sjorberg, Sweden; a brother; John Sjoberg of Firth, Idaho; a niece, Mrs. Oscar Richards of Hall, Mont.; two nephews, Axel and Carl Sjoberg of Firth, Idaho, and three step-children.

Funeral arrangements are not complete.
