Your comments that the Zeissloff cabin was built by Johan Georg Zeissloff is correct. My understanding of the family started in 1970. This early research was based on early newpaper accountings, and written accounts that led many, including myself to incorrect family associations. After much research by many family members we have greatly improved our understanding of the three Zeissloff brothers that arrived on 1 Sept., 1736. Gerhardt Zeislof, son of Georg Nicholas Zeissloff, born in Germany, is buried in PA and Ahrhardt Zeislof, born in PA, son of Johan Georg Zeissloff, is buried in NC. Both served during the Revolutionary War.
My apologies, for the earlier data, they were posted many years ago. I'm delighted to see all the newer updates, that are a result of family information found in the Moravian church records by a dedicated researcher in PA. Robert M. Szielove, Sr.
