I have Shrum's (my paternal surname) in Jefferson, and well THIS area and moving as YOU described, (I believe) and Thomas my GGgrandpa son Peter Shrum (lots on him from THIS area) Peter was son of Nicholas Shrum (the Pioneer to North Carolina). My Thomas Shrum was married to Sarah Sisco, I think her sister was Sally Sisco, but I'de need to "search the web" to "refind" this data Sarah, I think we must have a match just on locale, and travels coinciding with "my group".
