I'm very interested in tracking down SINTON surnamed descendants of any of the Southdean, Roxburghshire SINTON families, and any that may have strayed over the border into Northumberland.
Can anyone claim to belong to any of these families?
* John & Mary (WILSON) SINTON This John is of an age to be the son of the Patrick who is probably my Peter SINTON who married Janet DONALDSON, but had the mishap to die in England where death certs don't have enough data on them. Lived Mugglesfield, then Shotley Bridge, both Durham, England
* John & Alison (HALL) SINTON John was born Southdean abt 1807 but died in 1854, prior to civil registration. Descendants inter-connect with several other families of interest to me
* James & Janet (OLIVER) SINTON Born say 1737, married Janet OLIVER 1762 at Southdean, children born Burnkinford and Strangeburnfoot, Southdean, bit much of a coincidence for there not to be some connection with my Peter
* John & Ann (KNOX) SINTON John was born Southdean c 1798, ag lab at Crailinghall, Jedburgh 1841 and 1851
