Linda, my maiden name is Butler, but I used my brother's DNA for the tests. I used FTDNA, and they present the results differently than Ancestry.com. We are R1b1a2 also for the yDNA. They don't tell you if you have American Indian lines. The Family Finder is still a mystery to me because I think all the Lamb, Siniard, and Thompson lines are showing up in addition to my other families. That's where the American Indian lines are showing up in the genealogy they offer in matches. I can't follow one of the results. All the same, I thank you for your input.
It could all result from a fox in the henhouse, an adoption, or an invasion long ago. I will look at FTDNA and tell you the two Lambs we match.
