Haralson county used to be part of Carrolton Ga., but it was Haralson when the 1860 census was taken. Are they;re any Singletons still there? I would be so greatful or would trade research time at the St. Louis archive for someone if they could check on some things at the Haralson County courthouse for me. James Singleton, Martha and their 3 children are on the 1860 census. I cant find anything before or after on the family. My linage is from their son John L. Singleton. Thanks.
