Hello,
I am a Belgian citizen, living in the area of Antwerp.
In relation to the topic in discussion here, it should be noted there exists : " Kashubian Association of North America " , KANA , Box 27732 , Minneapolis, Minnesota 55427-0732 USA ,
info@ka-na.org.
In their Newsletter , Winter 2003 , No 4 , it is mentioned that the SYNAK Surname in Poland in 1990 , totals 896 , 279 of them living in Gdansk. A researcher of KANA is Blanche Krbechek ,
bkrbechek@att.net SIENACK is mostly present in Belgium, but there are not many, only 45 , according State Register , edition 1998 .Surname SINACK is found in nearby Zeeland ( The Netherlands ). There are many SINACK in Ontario ( Phelps, Lyons etc ) .
www.ellisisland.org mentions a Leo SINACK and a Polijdor SINACK immigrating in the USA around 1900 . Saying that SINAK , SINACK , SIENACK , SENACK has its origin in Poland, I don't know. I have an example of a father named SIENACK, having his eight children baptized in Koewacht , where four different spellings were registered : SIENACK , SINACK , SIJNACK , SENACK . This happened around 1760 .
www.usgennet.org/usa/ny/county/ontario/cems/phelps/stfrancis : cemetary registrations mention several SINACK and also one SENACK ( 1981 - 1987 )
Dis SIENACK ,
