Surnames: Sim, Durno, Martin, McDonald, Grant
My gr-gr-great grandmother was Margaret Martin, born abt 1828 in Fordyce, Banffshire Scotland. She married John Sim. They had at least one daughter, Margaret Sim, born 1860, who had three illegitimate children: Nicholas Ann Sim born 1874, Maggie Sim born 1884 and Peter Sim born 1886. At the time of the 1891 census, Nicholas Ann, Maggie, Peter and two cousins (Jessie Durno and Robert McDonald) were living with their Grandmother (Margaret Sim, nee Martin) in Brae of Crombie, Marnoch, Banffshire, Scotland.
Maggie Sim moved to Canada sometime before 1903 where she married William Watson Grant (also a native of Scotland) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1903.
I am looking for information on Jessie Durno and Robert McDonald.
I am also looking for information on Maggie's mother, Margaret Sim. Where was she at the time of the 1891 census? When and where did she die? Did she ever marry? Did she have more children?
