My Great Great Grandfather is James Wellington Silver born in 1870 in either New York State or Canada.
He married Verna Ella Truesdell in 1891 and they lived in Ararat, PA.
Their children were Wellington Ambrose Silver, Leo Glenn Silver, and Violet P Silver.
There is a 1880 census from Elmira, New York which is Chemung county that lists an Owen Smith and Melissa Smith and a stepson, James W Silver that is possibly my GG Grandfather.
James and Verna's son, Wellington married Pearl Permelia Wademan in 1913 and lived in Ararat his whole life.
Their children were Richard Wellington, Alton Glen, Lillian Mae, Jennie Ella, Eva J, and Duane Edwin Silver.
