Interesting, as Wellington was a fairly common name in a couple of my Silver lines. That name began in Canada though and wasn't used elsewhere. I still cannot connect the Amos. Most of the Silvers who returned to the US entered around the Great Lakes. There was a single extended family that came into NY, specifically Lyme, Jefferson County. This is a Thomas Silver born in Ontario about 1822. I still have no Amos in this group.
