My son-in-law, Jerry Hugo is GGGrandson of George Washington Sikes b 1891-92-died,1 Feb 1972, in High Ridge, MO. George W.'s father was John T. Sikes, b. 1862 in Ark. we are seeking his date of death and HOW he died. It is family lore that he died in a mine accident in St. Francois County, MO. We have no concrete evidence of this.
