I know you don't know me; My name is Judy Kielbowick. I found some of your posts on Ancestry.com regarding the Blinkiewicz families.

My mom's maiden name was Rita Blinkiewicz (shortened, "Blinkey"). She is still alive. Her father (my grandfather) was Alexander (born 1898); he had two brothers - Walter (1904) and John (1903), and a sister named Stella (1901). Although John and Walter were born in Wisconsin, the family grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Their mother's (my great-grandmother) first name was Nellie; I'm not sure who her husband was, but ultimately, I know he was a Blinkiewicz! :D

There was another Blinkiewicz family that started out in the same area of Pittsburgh as my grandfather (South Side), but had moved to the Ambridge/Baden area of neighboring Beaver county, Pennsylvania. I know that the head of this family was a man by the name of Stanislaus Blinkiewicz; however, I have no idea how the Beaver County family is related to my family. Cousins maybe, since both families originated on the South side of Pittsburgh?

It is rumored that there was a divorce in the family as well, that perhaps my grandfather had half- or step-sibling that he, his siblings, and his mother didn't really associate with.

I'm curious to find out if your research has found a link between the two families. Please let me know by sending me an e-mail at jkielbowick@yahoo.com.
