I am trying to get hold of a birth and death certificate for both John Laban Shrum, May 30, 1818 - February 5, 1867, and his wife Elizabeth Ann Davis, October 28, 1823 - November 2, 1893. I believe she was born in Illinois, and I have a marriage certificate for them there on January 16, 1842. I think he was born in either North Carolina or Missouri, and I think he father was Andrew Shrum. Their daughter Elizabeth Jane married James William McBee.

Any information you have, including photos of their gravestones, etc., would be most gratefully appreciated.
