Do you have a pretty good line on this JOHN ?
I have a German born Johann Jacob Schramm who's line LATER turned into Schram then Schrum and Shrum. I know this does NOT even sound close BUT; I have ELEVEN John Shrum's or some listed as; Schramm/Schram/Schrum/Shrum in my family, WE may be in the SAME tree here. Need clarification ? the Schramm line from Germany who were (FIRST) in York County Penn. and who were also from Germany, and came from the source man "Hanss Theobald Schramm",came here to the colonies or America if you like, on 2 trips (or more) on the ship "Davies" for one,all are actually SCHRAMM's just like me! But my name is SHRUM, well there are relatives to me named Schrum/Schramm/Schram/Strom/Srum/Srom/ etc... so keep an open mind here EVERYONE ! Neal, email me at; block@thurston.com
