I've since discovered there were two Aquillas
and it sounds like you may fall under the
Aquilla Shockley b. 1780 who married Millicent
King and died in Paulding Cty, GA. Chareyn@aol.com
is working this line - he may able to provide
more information.

My line migrated to Hall County, GA - this
Aquilla was born in 1793 and I'm actually a
descendant of his twin brother Thomas. I'll
be happy to share what little I have if you
think its the right line.
