Ruth Anne Shively 89, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2005. She graduated from Indiana University with degrees in accounting and teaching. Ruth Anne was a member of Zion Evagelical United Church of Christ where she played piano for the gathering time before Sunday services. She was a Murat Shrine Honored Lady, member of Smyrna Shrine Guild, and active in the Arabets, Commediennes, and Hillbilly Band. She grew up in Anderson where her father had a furniture store. She worked as an accountant for many years at Midwest Construction, retiring in 1984. She was preceded in death by husband, Floyd Shively. Ruth Anne is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005, with calling from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Harry Moore Family Mortuaries, Allisonville Rd. Chapel. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
