Thanks for the quick response. My father's name was Joseph b. 21 Sep 1917. So far the best I can come with is strictly word of mouth cause someone had pidgeon holed the family bible and many piles of mail all with family info. My great-grandfather was named David Bergey Shirk, b. 1848 d. 2 Jan 1920, aside from 10 kids I am a little shakey on him but he was in and around that area (Fayette, Lewistown and Altoona). I am aware of the name Schurch with an umlaut over the u and they a wealth of information. I am not aware of the names of your ancestor the Sulouff's.
