I am just starting with my family history. My great grandmother was Maggie Shirk born 10-2-1873 in Taylor Twp. Union Co. Ohio. Her parents were John Shirk and Sarah Niesey. John's parents were Adam Shirk and Anna Dix. Up to here they are all from Union County Ohio. Adam was born in Oct of 1791 and his parents were Henry Shirk and Mary Catrie, from Hardy, Va.
