My 1/2 brother (same mother)is Charles Michael Shirer. His grandfather was Charles Michael Shirer, born 1864, died 1946, who had 13 children, one of whose name was George Shirer. I am adopted by Harold Ray Shirer, born 1917, died 1982, last child of Charles Michael Shirer. Harold Ray Shirer and his father, Charles Michael Shirer lived in Pennsylvania. I believe they lived in Uniontown. Harold was born in Isabella, PA. Don't know if this helps you. There is a Shirer/Thomas cemetery in PA. I can direct you there if you wish. Best regards,
