My Grandmother was Eliza Sheridan Born around 1886 in Armagh. Her Father was Joseph he was a Sinn Fein leader.
Her mother was Mary McGarvey,a catholic and a commoner.
Family legend has it that Josephs name was not originally Sheridan but something like Blackmorrey. They were protestants and lords but he was disinherited for marrying on the wrong side of the tracks. And to really sock it to his relatives he took up the rebel cause. I am interested in any information on this side of my family (please no Broadmeadow info) Thanks Lou-ann
