YOUNGSTOWN - Carol Jean (Shears) Fitch, 60, died Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 25, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) where she made her home.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clifford Fitch; her son, Cliff Fitch; her sister, Kathy (Joseph) Mancini; her father-in-law, Clifford Fitch Sr.; and her brother-in-law, Chris Fitch, all of Youngstown, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Irene (Vasko) Shears and her brother, David Shears.
Carol graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1973, and went on to earn her LPN degree from Choffin Career Center.
She was employed with several facilities throughout the Youngstown area, most recently with Austinwoods Nursing Home.
Carol dedicated her entire life to her family and career and will be deeply missed by all.
In honoring her wishes, Carol will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers, Ohio.
