I don't know how to post to the Shearin board so that all can view it - I saw no "post message here" but am hoping this will move about and someone will see it and reply. I am interested in knowing where I might can substantiate info pertaining to Aaron/Moses Shearing (later "g" dropped and became Shearin)being born in England and one of them parent to my ancestor Joseph Shearin, b 1687 in VA - d 1752 in Granville (now Warren) County, NC.

The following is from Ann Guthrie's Genealogy Info but I do not know how to contact her.

Notes for Aaron/Moses Shearing:
Source: WFT CD #1
Shearin Family History, by Jean Adams
"Either Moses or Aaron Shearing was the father of Joseph Shearin. The brothers were deported from England to the British Colonies because they participated in the Monmouth Rebellion in Wales in 1685.

Also, what does WFT mean in "Source"?
Thank you. Please feel free to post this on other boards.
