LAKEVILLE: Debra Nell Sheaffer, 39, of County Road 37, Lakeville, Ohio died Friday morning, July 6, 2012 in Wooster Community Hospital following a sudden illness.
She was born July 31, 1972 in Ashland, Ohio and was the beloved daughter of David Milo and Jane Lee (Webb) Sheaffer.
Debra had been a Lakeville area resident since 1997, moving from Athens, Ohio where she was a 1990 graduate of Athens Christian School, a 1992 graduate of Hocking Technical College, and a June 2012 graduate of North Central State College with a degree in Graphic Design.
She had recently enrolled in the Pittsburgh Art Institute in pursuit of her bachelor's degree.
Debra was a photographer and the owner of Country Lane Photo and Design and had been a former employee of Wooster Community Hospital and Dr. Susan Baxter of Wooster. She was the official photographer for the Loudonville Street Fair for the past three years as well as for the Richland County Humane Society.
She was a member of the Ohio River Branch of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and was vice-president of the Friends of the Reserve Guard of Mansfield.
She is survived by her parents: David and Jane Sheaffer of Lakeville; her aunts and uncles: Joyce and Curt Frase of Chattanooga, TN, Sarah Austin and Kevin Hall of Loveland, OH; and her cousins: Joshua and Deanne Frase, Mandi and Mark Lessie, and Ashley Hall.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Jonathan David Sheaffer and her grandparents: Milo and Juanita Sheaffer, and Jack and Ruth Webb.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at 10:30 am in BYERLY-LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE, Ohio with Rev. Howard Burnett officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wayne County, Ohio.
