I am trying to find information on my grandfathers family. His name is Darrell Allen Shaw born in Oklahoma in 1927 and died in Missouri, He married Thelma J Butler, their children are Janice A Shaw, my mother, and Francis J Shaw whom are both still living.

He had 1 brother, Eugene Thomas Shaw he was born in Oklahoma in 1924 and died in Texas, Eugene has been married 2 or 3 times, he had 3 children from his first wife, Thomas Eugene Shaw, Timothy Shaw(who is a doctor), and David Shaw, to my knowledge all his children are all still alive and have married and have children of their own and so on.

My great grandfather is Andrew Allen Shaw he was born in 1901 in Missouri and died in 1944 in Oklahoma, he married Lillie Louveina Layton, she was born in 1904 in Oklahoma and died in Oklahoma in 1981.

My gr gr grandfather was Fredrick Allen Shaw born in Missouri in 1877 and died in 1911, he married Danie Irene Jane Burris, she was born in 1882 in Missouri I am unsure of her death date. their children were my gr grandfather, Andrew Allen Shaw, Agnes M Shaw 1902-1976, Perlyna J Shaw 1902-?,Hurley Shaw 1904-?, and Jess Thomas Shaw 1905-?.

My gr gr gr grandfather was Thomas Henry Shaw born in North Carolina in 1830 and died in Missouri in 1908, he married Purlina Staley, she was born in 1839 in Missouri and died 1911 in Missouri. Their children were John R Shaw 1862-?,
Lura R Shaw 1871-?, my gr gr grandfather Fredrick Allen Shaw 1877-1911, Frances Purlina 1880-1960, and Thomas Shaw 1885-?.
This is where I get stuck, unfortunately after my grandpas death we didn't have much contact at all with the Shaw side of the family so I cannot get information from them. The information I have is from my research and I'm not positive that the information past my gr gr grandfather Fredrick Allen Shaw is correct and accurate.

I'm looking for any help I can get on finding more Shaws in my line and where they originated from. I have heard from family members before I lost touch with them that we were Irish and Cherokee Indian but I do not know how accurate that is.

My grandfather and grandmother are double related and I have been trying to find the connection, according to my grandmother Orville Shaw was there connection, his fathers name was Elmer Shaw. I have not been able to verify if I have the right Orville Shaw or Elmer Shaw. My grandmothers maiden name was Butler and they were from Missouri and Kansas. I do know for a fact that that line, there is definate Cherokee blood and that could be my connection with Orville Shaw and Elmer Shaw.
