Hello again,
Hope that you can help out with this. You indicated in your post that Samuel had two wives, Maude and Frances, both born in Montana.
In looking at the 1910 census record for Samuel, it shows Samuel, wife Frances, son Henry, and daughter Inez. The census information indicates that Samuel and Frances have been married for 12 years in the present marriage, and that Frances is the mother of two children, both of whom are living. This would indicate that Frances is the mother of Henry and Inez. Also, the census information indicates that this is the first marriage (M1) for both Samuel and Frances.
The census also indicates that both Henry and Inez were born in Montana.
Could you share the information that you have that Samuel was married to Maude and that she is the mother of the first two children?
If Maude is the mother, the census information doesn't make sense.
Thank you. David
