Well I've to admit. I'm *very* proud of being a SHARMA. I'm an American but I know that my grandfather endowed a temple in India. And while he made a fortune working with the British he found time to pray and worship at the temple and donate to various public causes. I'm just an American bum!! But when I was in New Delhi on a trip, I was waiting for a taxi; when I introduced myself to a gentleman who was near me. I offered him my business card. And when he saw my last name, he immediately offered me his chauffer driven car all over New Delhi. He was so kind and generous saying that "Sharmas" should stick together. I said " Thank u gramps" and took a joy ride through Delhi. Have you & other Sharmas been unexpectedly felicated in India or elsewhere?
Jus' curious. Whenever someone asks me what Sharma means, I say they're poor suckers who prayed *all* the time- which is so true of my gramps and my pop.
Love...
