I saw your post in ancestry.com because I am also looking for info on Charles William Shallis who was married to my Aunt Ada (nee Madara) . He was born in England in 1900+/- died in 1973 in Philadelphia Pa.
I have had no luck finding any Shallis info. How about you?

Have found some info on your relatives.

William married Emily in 1874 and his father was also William born in 1818 in Somerset. His sister was Frances, is this the Frances you are after or are you looking further forward, you don't say in your post.

Trying to find any information on Ann Shallis who married my Great Great Great Grandfather George Pannell. They were married 19/12/1836 at St Paul Exeter Parish in England. Ann later died as my GGG Grandfather married again and came to Australia in 1850. I have no record of her death or any issue. Can anyone help.

Calling any Shallis' is anybody out there?? Where are you all? I am stil looking for information concerning Francies or Francis Shallis, William Shallis, Emily Shallis (nee Coleman) Ellen Shallis or Clara Shallis.

William was a Blacksmiths Labourer according to the 1901 Census page and was 58 yares old in 1901. He was married to Emily who I believe was formerly Coleman and aged 47 on the census report. Also on the census page they are shown as having 2 daughters Ellen (20) and Clara (6).

Also still looking for information on Robert Shallis, John Shallis, Leslie Shallis, Slyvia Shallis, Reginald Shallis, Maureen Shallis, Rosemary Shallis.
