I'm seeking any information on the parentage of my g-grandparents, John Wincharles Shaffer (abt.1860-1893) and Melissa Jane Space Shaffer (abt. 1860-1889). They presumably lived in or near Allegheny Co., PA during their marriage but I have no info on any previous locations or family. Their son, my grandfather John Franklin Shaffer (1885-1961), was orphaned at their death and was raised by an aunt Ella Shaffer.
