To David Scott Sewell my nephew Wade Leonard Sewell born March 1923 married to Lorene Ann Griffin (Lorn Anna Griffin) she changed her name alittle. My dads parent came from England. They would not allow lmy grandfather to marry a commoner. Him being of royal blood, so they ran off and came over here, at least that what has been said. My dad your grandfather was one of 18 brothers and sisters, he was one of the youngest. A few of his sisters and brothers he never knew. They died before he was born. He served in the army two different wars. He was also an old time cowboy, he loved country the mountians and hills, he also loved country music, he played the guitar and the harmonica. He also sung songs. He loved life and he loved your grandma. He was one for a good joke. Your mom and dad Betty and Wade heald a birthday party at their house on Grove St. In Roseville one year, he got soaps on a rope (the new thing going at that time) Old Spice cologne, and handkerchiefs, he said I get it...everyone wants me to take a bath smell good and keep my nose clean, the way he said it had everyone laughing. Your dad Wade Ray Sewell was his oldest son, he had 5 sons and 2 daughters which both daughters are living, and his youngest son Rory is still living, I believe.
