Does anyone have any info of cherokee heritage on this family? Isaac Richmond Sewell b.Jan 20,1844, Georgia and died 1934 in Alabama. Lucy Ann Gurley Sewell b. 1848 in Georgia and died Jan 1893 in Alabama. Their children:David R. Sewell, Joseph J. Sewell, John Allen Sewell,George Sewell, Charles S. Sewell, Eva Minnie Sewell, Homer R. Sewell, Vera Lucy Sewell(my great-grandmother), Thomas I. Sewell, Lela Emma Sewell, Rena Elizabeth Sewell, Nemi L. Sewell and William Sewell. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. According to a family record, Isaac Richmond Sewell married Lucy Ann Gurley on Oct.15th, 1867. She was born 1-15-1848 in Georgia and died 1-31-1893 in Cullman, AL. My great-grandmother was Vera Lucy Sewell, born Oct/Nov 1883 and died Jan 31 1972 and is buried in Victory Cemetery in Olustee, OK. She married Isaac Henry Waggoner July 2,1902.
