I am looking for information on my ggrandfather. His name I believe was John Settles (that is what my grandfather put on his SS-5 application.) My grandfather was William Thomas Settles and was married to Emma Mae McCarroll, they lived in Roane Co. TN. His father's name was John Settles and his mother's name was Mary Jane Snider.
