Seeking information on San Francisco Setaro family. Believe came to San Francisco in 1870s-80s. Great grandmother was Maria Setaro (formerly Maria Villa(?)Lapiano from Argentina). My grandfather, Angelo, was eldest of her marriage to Lapiano. He was adopted by Setaro. My grandparents, Angelo and Catherine (Kennedy) left San Francisco after 1906 earthquake and fire and relocated in Virginia City, Nevada while San Francisco was rebuilding--lost home (Telegraph Hill) and everything at this time. My grandfather died in 1908 at the hands of a neighbor when he intervened as a Good Samaritan in a domestic dispute.
Maria had seven children starting in 1870s: Angelo, Anita, Christina, John, Henrietta, Eduardo and Delmira. Believe Eduardo's family moved to Los Angeles area; was told that he was a musician and/or music director in the movie industry.
Have tried to find informationm but many records were destroyed in 1906. Any information would be appreciated.
