Thank you for contacting me. About 8 or 9 months ago I heard from Greg Rockett in Blackwell, Ok. He said he was Joyce's brother Gary's son. We emailed eachother a few times and he said him and his dad would contact her over the weekend and then get ahold of me. I haven't heard a word from him since. He won't even answer my emails just to find out if she doesn't want to meet us or if they decided not to contact her. I resently found my birthfather, so I've been busy getting to know my 4 new brothers and sisters. It can be scary, and for years I went back and forth between wanting to know them and never wanting to know them. If you can contact her, tell her that knowing them is much better. I'm sure she has bad feelings, but remind her that back then, family members could take control of a persons life rather easily, especially since our mother was so young. I am so busy these days, I don't seem to have a chance to search as hard as I have in the past, but I am hopefully going to have more time on my hands very soon and then the search begins again. Maybe you can help. I hope so.
