This is a very old thread, but I'm still hoping to connect.

Jesse Senff was the youngest child of William S Senff and Anna Kazia Kitch of Marshall County, Indiana. The oldest child was Phillip Richard Senff, who married Martha Shaffer. Their oldest was Ben, his oldest was Ardella Jensen, her middle child was my father Bill Jensen.

Willard Neal Senff - Chillicothe, Ohio

Willard Neal Senff, 94, of Chillicothe, Ohio (Ross County) died 8:13 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.''

He was born October 7, 1920, in Ross County, OH to the late Byron E. and Blanche L. (Immell) Senff. On April 12, 1947, he married Elizabeth Ann Bonner, who died June 21, 1991.

Willard served in the 12th Tactical Air Command Squadron of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
His family never tired of hearing his stories about India and Ceylon.

He attended the one-room schoolhouse in Hopetown and was a 1939 graduate of the former Centralia High School.
Willard was a jack of all trades and an avid gardener.
When he was about 80, his son had to hide his ladder after the wind had blown it over and Willard got down from the roof by shimmying down a tree.
With a quick wit and a penchant for pranks, Willard always made those around him chuckle.
He retired from the Mead Corporation and had also worked as Manager of Cussins and Fearn Co Hardware Store.

Surviving are a son, Neal (Kathy) Senff, of Chillicothe; daughters, Donna (Glenn) Lounsbury, of Ridgefield, CT, Rita (Kenneth) Kern, of Chillicothe, and Ruth Ann Senff-Wiemer, of Union, ME; grandchildren, Erin (Nick) Senff, of London, England, Sarah Senff, of Columbia, MO, Richard Allen (Shawna) Wiemer, of Union, ME, Meredith Wiemer, of Braintree, MA, and Kelly Kern, of Columbus; and a sister-in-law, Edith Senff.

He was predeceased by brothers, Charles E. Senff and Byron E. (Mary Cadden) Senff; sister Thelma (Frank Jr.) Tomastik; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Donald Mundy officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Margaret Ceme
tery, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service on Saturday.
Donations may be made to Honor Flight, Columbus, Ohio or Adena Hospice.

Hello, Peter & Catherine (Senff) Strayer were my 3rd grand aunt and uncle and Casper Senff was my 4th Great Grandfather. I have been sitting at a brick wall for the last 5 years on Casper in regards to who his parents, grandparents and siblings were and exactly how many children he actually fathered and their names, dob and dod.

Our family was Frank Leberecht Senff son of Carl and Christina (Frepper) Senff in Saxony Germany. He came here in 1864 to New York then to Philadelphia where he engaged in a cutlery business for 5 years and then moved on to Chicago where he opened his own cutlery business. He married Pauline E. Roesiger from Saxony Germany in 1865 in Philadelphia, then in 1882 he moved to Wyoming and bought a ranch. They had 9 children. Don't think we are related directly to Casper but I do know a relative named Frank Senff lived in Ia. at one time. Feel free to contact me if you come up with a connection. My name is Loretta Senff Owen and I am Frank's great granddaughter.

I have a Christian Seneff born in 1770 in PA who, at age 40 lived in Saltlick, Fayette, PA (1810). He died in Wayne County, PA at 85 in 1855. Would this be your family? He had a son, John W. Seneff who spent his entire 93 years in Fayette county, PA.
If these are yoour relations, I have some copies of old tintypes that may interest you. I would be willing to sent copies in exchange for information.

My late grandmother was born in Berlin suburb of Coepenick November 16th 1875.Married Johann Carl Eduard Go"ldner June 5th 1900 in Berlin.Had one son Max Emil 1n 1901.She died 2nd November 1957.
They resided in Berlin for the period of their marrriage and lifetimes.
Would like to link up with any members of the family who can or were told of this family member,there may have been siblings but I am not sure.Anyway I hope that someone may pick up on this little bet of information and possibly expand on it.

Does anyone have anything on parents of Christian Wilhelm Senff? Possibly Conrad, what about Conrad's father.
Am missing info on Senff's between 1720 when supposedly 3 possibly 4 Senff brothers came to USA from Germany and about 1770 when Christian born. Understand Casper didn't come to USA until about 1773. Are there birth or marriage records available between 1720 and 1790?

Anna Senff from germany married into my family - she married Ersnt C. Fredrich Von Knorre - her uncel was the famous royal doctor in denmark called Struense who had an afair with Quinn Caroline Mathilde. Does any body know if you are connected to the above or is it just Senff - from other families?
