Our family was Frank Leberecht Senff son of Carl and Christina (Frepper) Senff in Saxony Germany. He came here in 1864 to New York then to Philadelphia where he engaged in a cutlery business for 5 years and then moved on to Chicago where he opened his own cutlery business. He married Pauline E. Roesiger from Saxony Germany in 1865 in Philadelphia, then in 1882 he moved to Wyoming and bought a ranch. They had 9 children. Don't think we are related directly to Casper but I do know a relative named Frank Senff lived in Ia. at one time. Feel free to contact me if you come up with a connection.
