I am trying to trace info re my great grandfather, Robert Semple (and his family in Scotland). Robert was born in Paisley, Scotland approx. 1839 and came to NSW, Australia approx. 1871.

He married Harriett Constable (from Moruya, NSW) in 1898, then lived around the Balmain area of Sydney.

From Robert's death certificate, his father's name was William Semple (weaver) and his mother Janet Campbell (who were both deceased by 1898).

Robert may have had siblings Agnes, David, John, William, James.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
