I read your post with interest since I am trying to figure out how the Sefciks from Taylor fit into my family tree. I have two Sefciks that I am intersted in:

Edward Sefcik-B 1877, Fayette, TX D 1960, Rosebud, Falls, TX
Son of Joseph and Anna Sefcik (according to his marriage record from Granger) and had a brother named Charles (according to census records)
I haven't found anything else, not even census records of him until after his marriage in 1902.

Frances Sefcik Kuban- B 1882, Fayetteville, Fayette, TX D 1960, Austin, TX and interred in St Mary's Cemetary, Taylor, TX
It appears that her parents and brothers are also interred in St Mary's Cemetery. I think her parents were named Josephine (1846-1928) and Jozef (Josef) (D 1889).

I have found a Joseph (B ~1845) and Annie (B ~1845) Sefcik in Lavaca County in 1880. They had four children, including a son, Joseph, born ~1877. I am still not sure if that is the family I am looking for.

If your wife has any info that would help me, I would more than welcome it. I would like to place Edward Sefcik in a family and would also like to know if he is related to the other Sefciks in Taylor. I see too many similiarities to ignore and don't have enough info to make a link between Edward Sefcik and Francis Sefcik Kuban.

Thank you for your time,

Valorie
