WAPELLO, Iowa - Randy Archie Sedain, 50, of Wapello, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, from injuries sustained in an early morning automobile accident.
The Rev. James H. Huston will officiate.
He will be cremated. No visitation time is planned.
The Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sedain was born Dec. 25, 1957, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Wesley and Phyllis Hutson Sedain.
He was raised in the Victorville, Calif., area and attended school there. He graduated from Lake Havasu High School in Arizona and attended college and served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked at Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction.
He loved life to the fullest and always had a kind word or a joke to put a smile on someone’s face.
He enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, fishing, being outdoors and teasing his wife. He loved his family and friends and was devoted to both. He was an excellent artist and left behind many beautiful pencil drawings.
He will be missed greatly by all whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Carr of Wapello; a son; a daughter; three stepsons, Danny Carr and Thomas Carr, both of Victorville, Calif., and Bobby Carr and wife, Amber, of Wapello; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Anderson and husband, Mark, of Victorville; a sister, Marsha Sedain of Victorville; three brothers, Earnest Sedain, Ronald Sedain and Robert Sedain, all of Victorville; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
