Was George Seccombe an ancestor of yours? I have two pottery pieces of his, both figurines, one of two birds on a post, one of a koala on a stump. They are really good. the bird one is signed George Seccombe, Australia, probably in his hand wrighting, the koala one is signed G.S. underlined and then N.S.W. which I presume to mean New South Wales. Unfortunately they are both damaged, by years of travel with my parents. My father was in WW II in the Philipines and New Guinea and visited Australia after the end of the war. I'd love more info on him. thanks, Kitty Barr, USA.
