George W. Scruggs was my G. Grandfather and I am curious about the application he filed for the Cherokee roll.I am not being smart I would love to prove for myself and my Grandmother Polly Meryor Scruggs that she was Cherokee.We have this wonderful post card sent to her by Belva A. Lockwood Sept.28,1907 saying her papers were being filed,you will receive a number card.Please to send me $1.00 as an advanced fee & etc.Anything you have that her Father filled out I would love to see and will be happy to cover the cost.
