I have a lovely old leaded, stained glass transom window from a church that is most likely somewhere here in my home state of New Jersey. The window is a regular, Arts & Crafts style square frame design in fern green, yellow, and beige surrounding a clear leaded glass area, that is around a circle design containing a reverse-painted cross. The smaller details on the window are in red, tan, and dark forest green. The name of the person having donated the church window is lettered at the bottom: "M. G. SCLAFANI." The window has 2 reinforcing rods horizontally through it, as was common in these types of heavy, leaded church windows years ago. Glass area of the window is 19"h x 22.5"w. With the transom frame, window dimensions are 25"h x 29"w. The swinging part of a latch is mounted on the left interior side of the window.
Can anyone out there tell me anything about M.G. SCLAFANI, where he/she might've lived in NJ, or anything else about this window?
