I have a Charles and Emil Schumacher in one of my family lines. My Charles was married to Ernstine/Ernstina Schroeder and I found them in Farmington, Jefferson, Wisconsin in 1900. I have listed that they had 4 sons, Louis, Emil b-May 1879, Arthur b-Jan 1889 and Rineholt b-Jul 1890 and 2 daughters, Lydia b-Jul 1885 and Maty b-Jan 1887.
My Louis was married to Bertha Stoppleworth on Mar 4, 1897 in Dane County, Wisconsin.
Arthur's 1st wife was Bertha Unknown and they had 2 sons, George b-Feb 12, 1916 d-Jul 31, 1994, Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin which I found him living with his father in 1920, 1930 and 1940 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. He also enlisted in the Army on Mar 18, 1941. Robert was born about 1919. Arthur's 2nd wife was Orva Unknown b-about 1895, Wisconsin. They had a daughter, Catharine b-about 1928, Wisconsin. Arthur was living in Farmington in 1900, in Jefferson Creek in 1905, not sure of the town in Jefferson County in 1920 with his sons and first wife. In 1930 he was living in Hebron, Jefferson County, Wisconsin with his sons and his 1st wife wasn't listed so I assume that she died by then. He is living with 2nd wife in Hebron in 1940 and their daughter was 12 years old.
