Johann Friederich Schollenberger is our immigrant. He came to America September 3, 1742 aboard the "Loyal Judith". His place of origination was Albig, Germany; but, he came to America from Rotterdam, Holland via Cowes, England. He landed at the Port of Philadelphia. "Frederick" was born March 18, 1703 in Albig, Germany and died about 1768 in Greenwich Twp., Berks Co., PA. He married Anna Katharina Hoppach January 1, 1729 in Albig, Germany. He had 8 children: 1) Johann Deiter (1729-1732), 2) Johann Gerhard (1731-1732), 3) Johann Gerhard (1733-1777), 4) Johann Heinrich (1735-?), Johann Lorenz (1737-1785), Anna Elisabeth (1737-?), Maria Magdalena (1739-?), and Jacob (about 1743-1778)
