I'm doing research on my great great great grandparents Johann Karl Friedrich ORLAMUENDE (age 23 on 20 Oct 1816; thus, b. ca. 1793; eldest son) who married Johanne Regine FRANZ in the church at Meineweh, but which was recorded in Stoessen, Sachsen, Preussen in 1816. I just located the marriage record this week. It indicates that the groom's father was Christian Gottlob ORLAMUENDE, but the mother's name is not given. If we are talking about the same Christian Gottlob ORLAMUENDE, then Christian & Johanna Dorothea married (probably) before 1793. I noticed that someone posted a Pedigree Resource file on familysearch.org that shows Christian & Johanna and their children, beginning with a child born in 1800. Did you post that?
The records available on microfilm for Stoessen begin in 1800, so Johann Karl Friedrich ORLAMUENDE could easily be an older child of this same couple. Perhaps we can work together.
