John Christopher Schilling married Johanna Christina Sophia Retze they came from germany and lived and died in Ohio. I have John's paper for citizenship in 1855 it says he had lived in the US for 5 years. I am trying to find out where they came from. Did they come together or seperate? John was Johann Christoph before he got here did that change before or after he arrived? Who are his parents? Exactly where he was born?
