      <title>Joseph Scech</title>
      <link>http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.scech/1/mb.ashx</link>
<description>My father was Joseph Scech. He was from Olean, New York and lived for a few years in DuBois Pennsylvania. He was a Navy veteran. He moved to Toledo, Ohio and then Perrysburg, Ohio. He owned a glass installation business called Glass Products, Inc. He divorced my mother, Jean, in 1990. He lived in West Palm Beach Florida until his death in 1997. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As I am researching his side of the family, his father's last name appears to be Szczech - which was his grandfather's last name - from Poland. Some of the family members Americanized their last names to Check. This last name, Scech, appears to be rare - it is in Poland, but not in the area where my ancestor seem to be from. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.</description>
